"The actor is getting booked in downtown L.A"
Crime Watch Daily reports an LA police task force served a search warrant at Salling's home Tuesday morning.
An actor from the popular American comedy-drama television show Glee has been arrested on suspicious of possessing child pornography.
In March (15) they eventually reached a $2.7 million (£1.8 million) settlement, although Salling consistently denied the accusations, insisting he acted in self-defence after being attacked. Our sources say an ex-girlfriend of Salling's tipped off cops and they investigated before the raid to make sure it wasn't a revenge allegation.
"This wasn't just photos of hot young teens", a law enforcement insider told The ENQUIRER.
Salling, 33, has been largely off the Hollywood grid since his days as singer/football player Noah "Puck" Puckerman on "Glee".
No further details were reported about the arrest on Tuesday; however, various tabloid and gossip websites have been posting social media updates about Mr. Salling's visit to Costa Rica last month.
He was arrested in Los Angeles, and has made no comment as yet to the press.
This isn’t Mark Salling’s first time getting into some legal trouble, though it is the biggest pot of legal hot water the actor has encountered.
The ENQUIRER revealed in 2013 that Salling had been hit with a vicious sexual battery lawsuit in January of that year. Police also seized mobile phones and other electronic devices from the home, TMZ said. Roxanne Gorzela claimed that Salling forced her to have unprotected sex with him.
