She’s never been one to bite her tongue.
And , while admitting she loves her job, has condemned another Hollywood sticking point – her business’ obsession with weight.
Just a couple of months after she wrote an open letter on sexism in the industry, the 25-year-old Oscar winner has had her say on the aesthetics of acting, telling that an actress should be ‘judged on talent’ not looks.

The Hunger Games star became the highest paid actress in the world this year thanks to her lead role in the smash hit franchise and award season favourites with her favourite director David O. Russell, including latest project Joy.
Jennifer may be riding high in Hollywood, but she has told Grazia she is still dismayed by many aspects of her profession.
‘I hate all the focus on weight and size that you have in our business,’ she has explained in a new interview. ‘I don’t think an actress needs to be skinny to be attractive and it sends the wrong message to young women. Snap up a tuxedo dress like J Law
Being one of the faces of Christian Dior comes with its perks. Not only do you have access to an endless supply of handbags, sunglasses and earrings, you have access to some of the best seamstresses in the world. We, at Fashion Finder, tip our hats to these men and women who painstakingly hand-assemble every stitch into sculptural creations season after season. There are no sewing machines in haute couture. And these people are arguably the heart and soul of a fashion house.
They are also tasked with creating one-of-a-kind pieces for celebrities and Jennifer Lawrence wore one of them for the Joy premiere in London this month. We love this unassuming, two-piece LBD: low-cut, snug in the double-breasted waist which then explodes into a lollapalooza of asymmetrical pleats and folds in a high/low silhouette.Of course, the primary characteristic is the silk- or satin-covered tuxedo-style lapel making it, technically, a tuxedo dress. Unfortunately, because it was made especially for Jennifer, we can't get our mitts on this exact dress… even if we had the funds to purchase exquisite, hand-made pieces from this famous French house.
