Kanye West surprised fans by dropping his first new song in months on New Year’s Eve.

The rapper unexpectedly released “Facts (Jumpman)”, which sees him blast sportswear company Nike and sing wife Kim Kardashian’s praises after the huge success of her new Kimoji app.

“Yeezy, Yeezy, Yeezy, they line up for days. Nike out here bad, they can’t give s**t away,” West raps, after leaving Nike for a better deal and more creative freedom designing trainers with Adidas.

“I stuck to my roots, I’m like Jimmy Fallon, I ain’t dropped the album but the shoes went platinum,” the song continues. “Nike treat employees just like slaves, gave LeBron a billi’ not to run away. Ten thousand dollar fur for Nori, I just copped it, your baby daddy won’t even take your daughter shoppin’.”

West’s two-year-old daughter North was recently photographer wearing a luxury fur coat in Los Angeles.

Later on in the track, he also references his VMAs 2015 election bid (“Imma run the whole election”), Drake’s hit song “Jumpman”, the sexual assault allegations against comedian Bill Cosby and the cringeworthy Miss Universe mishap that saw host Steve Harvey crown the wrong winner on 20 December, proving that he must have written the song recently.

“Kimoji just shut down the app store and we made a million a minute, we made a million a minute,” he raps. “Do anybody feel bad for Bill Cosby? Did he forget the names just like Steve Harvey?”

West’s upcoming album, Swish, is yet to receive a release date but fans are hoping it will arrive sometime in 2016.
